To keep the peace, use HearLink PLUS, a Bluetooth® transmitter that streams audio directly from the television’s analog or digital (optical) sound source to the viewers ears, thus eliminating ambient noises, room reverberation, and other types of sound interference which hamper intelligibility of speech and music appreciation. The transmitter pairs seamlessly with the Wear & Hear line of assistive hearing headsets, ensuring that each viewer benefits from personalized audio that can be fine-tuned in real-time using the dedicated W&H BeHear® smartphone app.

Low range and low latency deliver the best TV watching experience. Connecting to the digital optical port on modern televisions or the analog sound output found on most standard television sets and other audio devices, HearLink PLUS sends the audio signal directly to the paired BeHear personalized hearing amplifier. Employing Class I Bluetooth for connectivity ranging up to 200 feet (60 meters), HearLink PLUS allows freedom of movement without sacrificing listening continuity. The transmitter supports the aptX® audio codec to keep latency at less than 40 ms, providing a seamless TV watching experience with no lip sync issues.

BeHear headsets can be connected simultaneously to the HearLink PLUS transmitter and to a smartphone allowing the wearer to watch TV with the ListenThrough technology activated (passing through important ambient sounds via the headset) and make/receive phone calls. Audio transmission via the HearLink PLUS is paused for the duration of the phone call and resumes when it is complete. Furthermore, up to two BeHear headsets can be connected to a single HearLink PLUS transmitter, enabling couples to enjoy the TV watching experience together, each hearing audio optimized for their own hearing profile and preferences.
